Gold & Parado is a full-service law firm capable of addressing your business and individual legal requirements. While the number of attorneys and support staff have varied over the years, we have found our present size best enables us to provide our clients the highest quality and personal attention they deserve.
When Alan Gold commenced his legal practice in 1980, he focused primarily on civil litigation. While trying cases still occupies a substantial amount of his time, the lessons learned in litigation proved invaluable in negotiating and drafting contracts, attendance before regulatory bodies, assisting clients with estate planning, doing commercial and residential transactions, and assisting clients in avoiding litigation.
James Parado joined the firm in 2003 while obtaining his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Miami. Mr. Parado has often sat beside Alan Gold on complex litigation, arbitration and administrative matters. Mr. Parado also has an extensive litigation practice in real estate matters, foreclosures, probate and general civil litigation as well as engages in estate planning, negotiation and drafting of contracts, and real estate closings.
We are attorneys and counselors of law. Our goal is to diligently and ethically provide you with the highest quality of services designed to meet your individual legal needs. Every person or business is different. No two problems are exactly alike. Therefore each legal solution needs to be tailored to our client's individual needs. We strive to provide you with counseling designed to best meet your unique situation. That often involves creativity, ingenuity and thinking outside of the box.
While our firm is very confident in its ability and reputation in litigation matters, and have litigated in state and federal cases across the United States, we believe the best litigation strategy is to avoid litigation. Avoidance of litigation should begin at the very formation of your business, when the contract is drafted or when the relationship is formed. Benjamin Franklin's axiom that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" is just as true today as when our nation was formed.
Whether your legal needs are large or small, they are important to you and to us. Our entire staff would welcome and appreciate the opportunity to apply our considerable legal knowledge and skill to your legal needs.
At the Law Offices of Gold and Parado we believe that the practice of law is a noble and honorable profession. We believe that lawyers must act ethically and above all, be honest and loyal to their clients. We believe every client deserves an attorney and counselor who will vigorously and effectively advocate for their client's position. We believe that every client deserves an attorney who would listen to them.
